PHOTOS: Drivers Injured in Commack Road Crash

Two drivers had to be cut form their vehicles after a crash at Commack Road and Crooked Hill Road on Sunday.

 

Two drivers were seriously injured in a car accident off Commack Road early Sunday morning. 

Suffolk County police report a motorist in a Ford sedan traveling north on Commack Road at a high rate of speed, when they slammed into a Honda sedan making a left-hand turn onto Crooked Hill Road. The impact caused the Honda to spin out and cross into the southbound lane, go up and over the curb and into the berm.

Both drivers had to be cut out of their vehicles by Suffolk County Emergency Services Unit and were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries.
