Event Spotlight: Fire Sprinkler Awareness Fundraiser

Help raise awareness of fire sprinkler safety.

 

, a Commack High School Class of 2008 graduate was killed in an off campus fire at Marist College on January 21, 2012.

On Friday, June 1st, the Kerry Rose Foundation will be holding a fundraiser to help raise awareness of off campus fire safety - with the emphasis on the importance of fire sprinklers and student education regarding their rights in off campus housing.

There will be music, food, drinks, a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle and much more.

What: Fire Sprinkler Awareness Fundraiser

Where: IBEW Local 25 Hall, 370 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Hauppauge

When: Friday, June 1st, 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Price: $40 suggested

Why: To raise awareness of fire sprinkler safety
