The Argyle Theatre in Babylon has played a key role in the revival of Main Street since its reopening in 2018. Offering a diverse range of performances, the theatre has turned the downtown area into a vibrant hub for the local community. The upcoming event will focus on how venues like the Argyle Theatre not only serves as economic engines for Babylon aMr. Rubin, along with Mark and Dylan Perlman, will share insights on the impact of entertainment venues and their potential to attract more people and businesses. They will also highlight The Argyle Theatre’s “Academy of the Arts,” which educates local students with supportive environments in musical theatre and performance skills. 



This discussion aims to highlight the essential role that cultural and entertainment venues play in revitalizing local areas around Long Island. 

In addition, three pairs of tickets to A Bronx Tale will be given out as door prizes. This is a musical that explores themes of loyalty, love, and family.

Enjoy some wine and laughs as she takes you on an expedition through many of the fishiest exes, like The Self-Proclaimed “Nice Guy,” The Egomaniac, and The Improv Star.

Jewish Teens that are rising sophomores, juniors and seniors can intern with a diverse group of socially conscious peers to bring vital social connections to older adults. Through our summer teen internship programs, you can develop leadership skills and engage in meaningful programs with older adults. Through a variety of intergenerational activities – including discussion groups, creative arts and tech assistance – you can give back to the community this summer while earning 100+ community service hours.
The internship will take place in person at the Suffolk Y JCC, Monday-Thursday from 10:00 am-4:30 pm.
Session Dates: Monday, July 22, 2024-Thursday, August 15, 2024
Fee $450 plus $100 stipend!&nbsp;
