Good morning, Commack. Here's a look at what's happening today in town.

Join a Back to School Kickoff Party today at the Commack branch of the Smithtown Public Library (3 Indian Head Rd., Commack) at 7:15 p.m.  The event is an interactive workshop for parents and students with keynote speaker Gail Feldman, a senior drug educator for Suffolk County Health Department Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services. The workshop will discuss how and why humor creates happiness, which keeps people healthy; how to reframe thoughts, refresh spirits and rejuvenate one's body and five secrets to living a happy healthy life.

Savers Opens Tomorrow
Savers, national thrift store chain, will celebrate its grand opening tomorrow on Larkfield Road in Commack.The store is partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island. Every donated item will help support the organization.

Search Still On for Second Pot Grower
Smithtown officials are still on the hunt for a second suspect accused of helping tend to a marijuana farm discovered in Commack earlier this month. Among the evidence was roughly 100 - 200 marijuana plants, averaging in height between 7 to 8 feet tall. The first suspect is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 2.
