Chocolate Works Opens; Babysitting Workshop

Good morning, Commack. Here's a look at what's happening today in town.

There is a free babysitting workshop for middle school students today from 5-6 p.m. at 161 E. Main St., Smithtown in the Horizons Building Community Room. Use the rear entrance when attending. Register by calling Lisa at (631) 360-7595 or emailing her at lbelli@tosgov.com.

Chocolate Works is now open at the Peppertree Commons Shopping Center at 6401 Jericho Tpke., Commack. The store is a bit like entering a chocolate dream world. Read more about it here.

Smithtown officials are still on the hunt for a second suspect accused of helping tend to a marijuana farm discovered in Commack. Among the evidence was roughly 100 - 200 marijuana plants, averaging in height between 7 and 8 feet tall.
