Drivers Ed Registration Open; Taco Tuesday

Good morning, Commack. Here's a look at what residents should know about today in town.

Drivers Education Classes Open
Registration for Drivers Education classes at Commack High School is now open for the fall semester. The 16-week program comes at a cost of $500 payable by check or money order to the Commack School District or through PaySchools. Truck Inspection Site Dedication
A new Motor Carrier inspection station on Crooked Hill Road will be dedicated today at 11 a.m.  in memory of Suffolk County Police Officer Glen Ciano, who was killed in the line of duty in February 2009, when he was struck by a drunken driver. The inspection station is intended to alleviate traffic on Commack Road.

Taco Tuesdays and Two-fer Margaritas at Perfeto Mundo

Today is Taco Tuesday with two-for-one margaritas at Perfecto Mundo Latin Bistro in Commack, within the Northgate Shopping Center. Call 631-864-2777 for reservations.
