Good morning, Commack. Here's a look at what's happening today in town.

PSAT Testing
Commack High School students will get a taste of the SAT during a practice exam today. The three-part aptitude test consists of a math, reading and writing section with a total test time of 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Meet the Candidates Night
Get to know those running for Huntington Town government at a Meet the Candidates Forum Wednesday at Elwood Middle School (100 Kenneth Ave, Greenlawn). The event starts at 7 p.m. 

Candidates attending include Eugene Cook and Frank Petrone, who are running for Town Supervisor; Mark Cuthberston, Tracey Edwards, Mark Mayoka and Josh Price, who are running for Huntington Town Council; Peter Gunther and William Naughton, who are running for Highway Superintendent; Lou D'Amaro and James Martin, who are running for the 17th Suffolk Legislature; and Robert Conte and William Spencer who are running for the 18th Suffolk County Legislature.

Possible topics will include residential downzoning in the Huntington Township, traffic, road conditions, government spending, taxes, the 2-percent tax cap, housing and town planning.

Pink Bagels Return at Panera
Pink Ribbon Bagel month is underway at Panera Bread in East Northport. During October, the restaurant will contribute sales of its pink bagels to the Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition.
