Patricia Sihksnel, of Commack, graduated summa cum laude from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY during a ceremony held on May 29, 2012 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Patricia was awarded a B.A. in Spanish with a concentration in secondary education and a minor in speech communication. While at SJC, she was a member of the Drama Society, the Dean’s Service Circle, numerous honor societies and secretary of the SJC Sharps, an all-female a cappella group. Patricia received departmental honors, was one of the top 20 students to graduate in SJC’s class of 2012 and was recognized by Who’s Who Among Graduating Seniors in Colleges and Universities. Outside of college, she participates in performances at the STAR Playhouse in Hauppauge.
In the future, Patricia hopes to obtain a master’s degree in education and become a Spanish teacher, or pursue a law degree.
