Matthew Peterson, of Commack, graduated summa cum laude from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY during a ceremony held on May 29, 2012 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Matthew was awarded a dual B.A. in History and Philosophy/Religious Studies. While at SJC, he was a member of the honors program, the dean’s list, numerous honor societies and was a founding member and executive of the Philosophical Society on SJC’s Long Island Campus. Outside of college, Matthew is a volunteer team leader and podcast editor for his church.
In the future, Matthew hopes to attend graduate school and obtain a degree in theology with a concentration in ministry.
