Join Prepared Foods Chef Joe, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, at Whole Foods in Lake Grove to learn how to make healthy and beautiful dishes Tuesday at 6 p.m. 


Have you wondered if solar energy would really be affordable in your home? Energy by Choice will hold a free educational seminar at the at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Bring your young child, ages 3 to 5, down to Caleb Smith State Park so together your can disoccover nature, learning about "Beautiful Butterflies" on May 31 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Program fees are $4 per adult, $3 per a child. 


The Commack Community Association will hold its montly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Commack branch of the Smithtown Special Library District. All residents of Commack are welcome.

The Kerry Rose Foundation, in honor of Kerry Rose Fitzsimons, will be holding a Fire Sprinkler Awareness Fundraiser on Friday from 4 p.m to 11 p.m at the IBEW Hall on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge. There will be music, food, drinks and much more. Suggested donation is $40.
