5 Events Happening This Week

Fourth of July parties for children and two summer concert series kick off this week.

 


Children can celebrate our nation's birthday with a Fourth of July party at the on Monday, 4 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. The celebration will include stories, a craft and cupcakes. Registration is required.


Expand your culinary palate with Sweet and Savory Fondue demonstration by chef Richard at the on Tuesday, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Register in person.

Feast on fresh seafood at Sunken Meadow State Park starting at 6 p.m. Wednesdays. The toll booths close at 4 p.m., so parking is free.  


Head to Smithtown Public Library to hear live music by a Beatles Tribute Band: Strawberry Fields at 8 p.m. Thursday as the Dennis Cannataro Family Concert Series kicks off. Make sure to bring a lawn chair and/or blanket.

The Smithtown Recreation Department throws its children concert series, Kids Koncerts, at  on Friday from 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Free event.
