Now in its 17th year, the festival typically draws film lovers from all over Long Island to Stony Brook University's . Will you be among them? There are two ways to enjoy the Stony Brook Film Festival: buy a 10-day pass ($80), or buy tickets to individual films($7–$9). As of Tuesday morning, 10-day passes are still available.
The music continues Friday evening as presents its fifth concert of the season. All Good Friends, a group of eight men and women will fill Main Street with the sounds of rock, pop and Broadway as they take to Russ Savatt Park at 7:30 p.m.

Pick up fresh fruits, vegetables and more at one of the area's two local farmer's markets including the one ats, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., or at Sundays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Hear a free, live musical performance by country artist Stanton Anderston at Hoyt Farm Nature Preserve this Sunday starting at 7 p.m. Remember to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
