Two important school budget meetings and local civic issues take the spotlight this week.

Here is what's happening in Commack from March 26 to March 30: 

1. Commack school officials will be holding a session on the 2012-13 school budget at at 7 p.m. Come down and share your opinion on the proposed budget.

3. Smithtown Board of Zoning Appeals will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Citizen Center to discuss some of the latest business proposals in town. 

4. The Commack Community Association will hold their monthly meeting at the Commack branch of the Smithtown Special Library District to discuss local issues and more at 7 p.m. Thursday.

5. Commack school Board of Education will meet Thursday for the next Budget Workshop to discuss transportation, technology and undistributed costs in the proposed 2012-13 budget at 8 p.m. in the Art Gallery.
