Whether it's an intersection in desperate need of a stop sign or anger over taxes, the Commack Community Association is a great resource.
The Association's website defines itself as "a non-political, community organization" whose goal is "to stimulate interest in civic affairs, promote the general welfare of the community and to protect the rights and interests of the community" in education, zoning, taxation, community, appearance and environmental concerns, social and recreational activities, and anything else of importance.
