April 4: After-School Games and High School Arts Show

Here's what's going on today in and around town.

Another week begins. Start it off  on a high note by attending one of these events happening around the neighborhood.

1.: Mondays can be tough—the weekend is over, and you have to survive anther five days before you can get there again. So why not have as much fun during the week as possible? That's the idea behind the after-school game room at Commack Middle School, where students are invited to play every Monday and Friday from 2:45-3:30 p.m.

2. : The Suffolk Y JCC will host their weekly shape-up class for those looking for a low-intensity cardio workout with stretching and toning exercises mixed in. Classes run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m..
