Aug. 2: Nearby Family Night and Children's Storytime

1. : Teens ages 14-19 are invited to the beach at each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night to party in a supervised, drug-and-alcohol-free environment.

2. : Main Street in Northport will be closed to traffic and filled with families admiring hot rods and antique cars on display from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be live music, outdoor dining, and plenty of activities for the kids.

3. : Take your little one to the Barnes and Noble at Smith Haven Mall for children's story time. Kids can also sing songs and make crafts. The fun begins at 10 a.m.

4. :This play session at the Smithtown Library Commack branch inludes 45 minutes of playtime and storytime for children between 12 and 23 months. Siblings are welcome to join the fun, but registration is required.
