Chabad Parade Will Commence Despite Weather

Despite the weather, representative said the parade will still commence at 4:30 p.m.

Joel Blitzer, representative for the , said the will commence at North Gate Shopping Center at 4:30 p.m. despite the weather.

Blitzer said if the rain continues, the additional entertainment – including latkes, drinks, and a fire juggler – will be moved to the Chabad Center.

The first annual parade was initiated because of the "rapidly growing Chabad membership," Blitzer said. As Hanukkah is one of the more "festive" holidays, he said congregations all over the world come together as a community to celebrate and share the holiday with their hometown communities.
