Commack Students Collecting Little League Gear for Sandy Victims
Burr and Sawmill Intermediates Schools collecting used baseball geer March 4-15.
Commack schools are partnering with the East Rockaway community, which was one of the hardest hit areas during Hurricane Sandy.
Families are asked to bring gently used baseball and Little League gear to Burr and Sawmill Intermediate Schools, so that the children of East Rockaway can still enjoy baseball this spring and summer.
Bins will be placed at Burr Intermediate and Sawmill Intermediate schools for donations during the weeks of March 4 through March 15.
