John Valinoti, 26, of Commack, was arrested Feb. 15 in Setauket and charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor. Police said Valinoti lied about his identity when they pulled him over for a traffic violation at 6:40 p.m. on Old Town Road.

Jake McGough, 18, of Commack, was arrested Feb. 12 and charged with loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Police said McGough was inside of a vehicle in a parking lot on Jericho turnpike smoking marijuana.

Nicholas Governale, 19, of Commack, was arrested Feb. 12 in Commack and charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree (greater than 2-ounces). Police said Governale was inside of the vehicle smoking marijuana with Jake McGough, who was also arrested.

Michael Quigley, 34, of Commack, was arrested Feb. 15 in Commack on a charge of criminal contempt after allegedly violating an order of protection.

Rachel Shavzin, 29, of Commack, was arrested Feb. 15 in Smithtown on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in the first degree. Police said Shavzin crossed over a double yellow line into oncoming traffic on Old Willets Path and crashed into another vehicle.

Ediz Serman, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested Feb. 13 in Commack on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in the first degree. Police said Serman was asleep behind the wheel of a 2012 Nissan on Harned Road and in possession of prescription drugs and marijuana.

Moussa Toure, 36, of Commack was arrested Feb. 4 in Hauppauge on a charge of grand larceny in the third degree. Police said Toure stole an excess of $3,000 from Citibank by causing submission of fraudulent documents to secure business loans, and then defaulted on those loans.
