Dec. 12 is Hiking, Culture, and Adoption

Take this Sunday to go for a hike, or bring your children to J-Team classes to learn about their Jewish heritage.

Two of our events this Sunday revolve around supporting animal welfare.  Please look into these events and look into adopting an animal in need.

1. :  Take a hike through the terrain of .  It is recommended that hikers bring their own refreshments, and that beginners do not register for this hike.  The hike begins at 9:00 a.m., but be sure to register in advance!

2. :  Children between the ages of three years old and those in second grade can be registered to go to 's J-Team Sunday Program to learn more about their faith.  Classes are held from 11:00 a.m., to 12:15 p.m.

3. :  Take the mic or take a seat and listen to comedians at Chesterfields, where free open mic night begins at 8:00p.m.

4. Wrap Your Presents:  Save yourself the hassle of wrapping all of your gifts and help animals in need at the same time by making a donation and having your purchases gift wrapped at Borders in Commack by members of The League for Animal Protection in Huntington.

5.  Adopt a Friend:  Take a look at our and consider adding a furry member of the family.
