Dec. 25 is Religious Services, Christmas Dinner, and Movies

Whether you are celebrating the holiday or not, there is still plenty of places open in and around Commack to go to.

Commack Patch has you covered for Christmas Day with guides for everything from local places of worship to restaurants that are open, as well as great new comedies that are in theaters today.

1.  Attend religious services:  Use our  to plan your morning.

2.  See a movie:  If you aren't celebrating the holiday, go to the Commack Multiplex to see new releases like Little Fockers or Gulliver's Travels.

3. : Hoyt Farm is open 365 days a year for residents to walk through and enjoy nature.  Be sure to bundle up!

4.  Sponsor a pet:  If you can't adopt a pet this holiday season, look into sponsoring a cat or dog at Little Shelter in Huntington to help cover costs of food, housing medical care.  Little Shelter can be reached at 631-368-8770 ext. 206.
