Dec. 28 is Suffolk Y events, Blizzard Photos and Help Wanted

With the blizzard, there are still things to do, but you should call ahead to make sure events are still planned.

With the snow, it may not be a great idea to go out of the home, but if you're stir crazy, call ahead and make sure these five things are still happening today. 

1. : For students in grades K-5 at the Suffolk Y JCC, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This a great way to keep kids occupied and warm during this winter holiday. 

2. : The Chabad-Center of Mid-Suffolk hosts a power lunch dial-in phone conference every Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

3. : The Kings Park/Commack Rotary Club will host their regular meeting at the at 12:15 p.m.
