Dec. 5 is Carnivals, Fitness, and Charity

Enjoy some of these Sunday activities, including various Hannukah celebrations by your local synagogues.

Many local synagogues are hosting Chanukah celebrations for the whole family this weekend, including a festival and bowling.  If you still need to catch up on holiday shopping, you can also stop by the Mills Pond House for unique artistic gifts.  If you know of any events today, or events coming up, be sure to add them to our calendar.

1. :  Get your hair cut at Techniques Salon in East Northport between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and all proceeds will go towards granting the holiday wishes of children in the Stony Brook Hospital pediatric unit.  Be sure to call and make an appointment first!

2.  : Stop by the Commack Jewish Center for refreshments, games, and menorah lighting to celebrate Hanukkah, starting at 10:30 a.m.
