Event Spotlight: Kid's Day at Commack Public Library

Get the family together for a fun-filled day that everyone, no matter their age, can enjoy.

 

Gather the family together for a day to celebrate what childhood is all about. 

The Friends of the Commack Public Library is throwing a Kid's Day celebration on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the whole family is invited. The cost of attending is $10 per family, no matter the number of kids.

Kids are invited to bring along an item of clothing to tie-dye as well as the opportunity to decorate a bakery treat. The fun doesn't stop there, with a list of activities for children: 

  • face painting
  • photo mementos
  • carnival games
  • spin art
  • dancing
  • magic shows
  • a pet den
  • tattoos
  • music

In addition the the fun and activities, several local organizations and businesses will be on hand. Commack Coalition for Caring as well as Hidden Park Day Camp and TD Bank are scheduled to attend.
