Feb. 1 is Movie Day, Thrift Store Sales, and 3-D Art

Make today the first day of your do-something-local-every-day plan.

Happy February, Commack. Start off the new month with one of these exciting events.

Betsy Podlach, graduate of Harvard and The New York Studio School, will bring your artistic abilities into the third dimension with this class for 5-to-7-year-olds at the . Use clay, cardboard, glitter and other objects to create a work of art. Class begins at 4:30 p.m.
