Feb. 3 is Comedy, Black History Month Celebration, and Meetings

Do something different today in Commack.

The weekend is a-comin'. Make it get here faster by spending some of your time having fun locally.

1. : Head down to the for the Board of Trustees meeting. Listen to what's happening at the library, and grab a book or two while you're there. The meeting starts at 11 a.m.

2. : February is Black History Month, and the Town of Huntington is inviting Deborah Dowling to be the keynote speaker. A discussion will follow. The event begins at 7 p.m.

3. : It's Founders Day for the Commack School District. Head down to the Hubbs Administration Center and partake in the festivities, starting at 6 p.m.
