Feb. 7: Play Some After-school Games Or Make a Valentine for A Senior

Kick off the week by doing something local.

We're all recovering from our Super Bowl parties last night, so why not kick off the week in laid-back style, by taking part in an event nearby. There's plenty going on around town today to keep everyone entertained.

1. : is hosting a night of Bingo. Come celebrate this classic family event with some of your neighbors, and maybe even make a new friend or two. The game is open to everyone and begins at 7:30 p.m.

2. : Mondays can be tough—the weekend is over, and you have to survive anther five days before you can get there again. So why not have as much fun during the week as possible? That's the idea behind the after-school game room at , where students are invited to play every Monday and Friday from 2:45-3:30 p.m.

3. : Teens are invited to join one another at to create special Valentines to give to residents of St. Catherine of Siena's Nursing Home. It takes only an hour to let someone know how much you care. The crafting begins at 6 p.m.

Teen Money Matters: The Friends For Life Foundation is hosting a special seminar regarding finance for young people called Money Matters: What every Preteen, Teenager and Young Adult Needs to Know to Avoid Credit Card Debt. In this economy, it's never too early to learn about good finance and ways to avoid debt. The talk begins at 6 p.m. at

5. Patch Loves Moms: Starting this week, we'll be rolling out a bunch of new content focused solely on Moms. Be on the lookout for local family-friendly deals, a weekend family planner, quick Mom-only escape ideas and much more.
