Why Go: Double-knot your shoes, grab a walking stick and hit the Greenbelt Trail as you wind your way through the scenic 97 acres in Arthur Kunz County Park.

Why Go: Learn how to make authentic syrup the same way Native Americans and Colonials did hundreds of years ago, and even get some sugar from trees.

Why Go: The snow covering your swingset will be gone soon, and it'll be warm enough to play outside. Camps 'R' Us' summer camp at St. Philip Neri's is a great place for children to let loose while school's out.

Why Go: Children may not have the best rhythm, but they have no qualms about dancing anytime, anywhere. Give them a dancefloor and some fellow tykes to bust a move with at the Commack Library. Games and toys are on the program, too. (Class is for 18-35-month-old children)

Where/When: ; Monday, 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Why Go: Dancing is a fun activity for all ages, and Joy Oddo's class at the Commack Library will combine dance with exercise to make sure ever kid has a blast. (Class is for 3 years olds-pre-K)
