Just when we though we had had enough, Wednesday night's storm took everyone by surprise, dumping more than a foot of snow on Eastern Long Island—much more than the predicted 6-10 inches. The snow made for a slippery morning commute, and forced several cancelations in Commack, including all schools and the Commack Community Association meeting. While most of you were digging out your driveways and sidewalks, we ventured out Thursday morning and snapped some photos of the storm's aftermath around town.
