Commack has been struck hard by a one-two punch by Mother Nature. Last week, it was Hurricane Sandy strong winds that caused damage and devastation. More than 10 days after Sandy, thousands of Commack residents are still in the dark without electrcity or heat and growing frustrated with LIPA.
A nor-easter ripped through the area on Wednesday bringing a strong winds and the area's first snowfall of the season.
