Jan. 6 is Movie Night, Drink Specials and Toddler Art

Here's what's happening today in and around Commack.

The work week may be winding down, but there are still plenty of events in Commack to squeeze in before the weekend.

1. : Join the faculty and students of for the dedication of brand new Shana Kay scoreboards in the South Gymnasium. The event is open to the public and begins at 6 p.m. 

2. : Avoid the cold and stop by for movie night. The Temple will be showing a movie at 7 p.m. as part of its ongoing "Lifelong Learning" program.

3. : Take your little Picasso to the for Arts Starts, a weekly art series for 2 and 3 year olds. Let your child roll up their sleeves from 11 to 11:45 a.m. each Thursday and express themselves!

4. : Having a long week? Head to in Smithtown for In The Mix Thursdays, a weekly event featuring live music and great drink specials. Go ahead, start the weekend a little early.
