Kohl's Offering Scholarships

The department store will be accepting nominations from young volunteers.

Kohl’s department stores, including the Commack location, will start accepting nominations for young volunteers next week for the 2013 Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program.

Nominations for students ages six to 18 will be accepted from Feb. 1 through March 15 at kohlskids.com. Nominators must be 21 years or older, according to the scholarship rules.

The department store will award more than $435,000 in scholarships to children who have made a positive impact in their communities.

Two nominees will be chosen from the Commack Kohl's to receive a $50 Kohl's gift cards. They will also have the opportunity to be one of more than 200 of the store winners to win regional scholarships worth $1,000 toward post-secondary education or one of Ten national winners will be awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships for post-secondary education, and Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf. 

The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program is part of Kohl’s Cares, Kohl’s philanthropic program focused on improving the lives of children.

i believe the best way to locate your teacher is through the commack teachers association (cta).Read More contact the union president, tris stewart, and write a short note. include all the contact information you're comfortable with and wait a bit? 33 years is a long time. good luck.
