'Living Out Loud' Tour Heads to Northport Library

The “Living, Out Loud” tour – a group of established essayists, including one from nearby Melville – are returning to the mic, this time at Northport Library on Wednesday, March 19, from 7-9 p.m.

This diverse group of writers shares their passion for the personal essay format with literary audiences throughout the region, whether locally on Long Island, and even Brooklyn and Manhattan. In fact, their January gig at New York’s City Winery was sold out.

The group includes Northport’s own Claudia Gryvatz Copquin, whose award-winning humor and lifestyle essays have been published in The New York Times, Newsday, The LA Times, and The Huffington Post. She is a long-standing contributor to Newsday’s Sunday and editorial pages.
