March 10: Don't Miss the Board of Ed Meeting/Budget Workshop

Good morning—we've got a busy day ahead of us, so let's jump right into it.

A combined Board of Ed/Budget Meeting is at the top of today's to-do list, followed by the senior shape-up class at the Suffolk Y and a St. Pat's-themed craft at the library.

1. /Budget Workshop: The Commack School District Board of Ed is meeting at at 7 p.m. The second school budget workshop will immediately follow at 8 p.m.

2.: The Suffolk Y JCC will host their weekly shape-up class for those looking for a low-intensity cardio workout with stretching and toning exercises mixed in. Classes run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m..

3. Leprechaun Loot Bag: Bring your child to the today at 4:30 p.m. to mak their very own St. Patrick's-themed loot bag. This event is open to grades 3-5, and registration is required.

4. Truck Driver Cited: A truck driver who was responsible for shutting down a portion of Commack Road earlier this week has been ticketed. Find out what he was cited for .
