Here's what's happening today in and around Commack.

Happy Monday, dear readers. Let's kickstart the week with some good news: warm weather is in our near future. For now, you can bundle up and step out with fellow moms in a local stroller strides group, register for discount LIRR to Penn Station, or attend a senior fitness class—the choice is yours.

1. : When the bell rings at Commack Middle School, the fun begins. Each Monday and Friday, REACH CYA sets up a game room where students can let loose and play with friends. Games last from 2:45 to 3 p.m., and a late bus is available at 3:30.

2. : Spring is beginning, so bundle up yourself and your little one and hit the pavement at the Outlets in Deer Park for this mom-friendly exercise program. The walk begins every Monday at 9:30 a.m.

3. : Ride the rails for cheap—register today at the Kings Park branch of the Smithtown Library for a trip from Kings Park to Penn Station on March 26 for $8.50. Best of all, kids under 5 ride free.

4. : Attention, seniors—It's never too late to get in shape. Head to the at 11:15 a.m. for a low-intensity workout designed to improve flexibility and tone your muscles.
