March 16: Attend a Budget Input Meeting or Cheer on the Cougars

Well, the Ides of March has come and gone, thankfully without a hitch. As we look toward tomorrow's St. Patty's Day festivities, take some time out today to enjoy these local events.

1. : Come cheer on the softball team as they take on Half Hollow Hills. The home game begins at 3:30 p.m.

2. : If you've missed any of the budget work sessions so far, here's your chance to catch up. This meeting, held at at 7 p.m., gives parents the chance to ask administrators about the budget.

3. : This after-school lego club meets at the Nesconcet Branch of the Smithtown Library every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Open to kids in grades 2-5, the club offers creativity and freedom for kids to build whatever they want.

4. : Feeling flexible? Head down to for their weekly beginner yoga class, which begins at 8:45 a.m. Don't forget to bring a mat and water.
