March 17: St. Paddy's Celebrations for All Ages

Here's what's going on today in and around town.

Happy St. Paddy's Day! If you didn't wake up with the Irish spirit in you, you better get it fast. Put on something green, do a jig and head out to any of the exciting events going on around town today. There's a St. Paddy's celebration for every age. Check out our list of the best places to celebrate today.

1. : Get your little one in the Irish spirit and celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the , who is hosting a bunch of activities for children, including a reading of Irish folk tales from grades 3 to 5.

2. : The Kindergartners at will be jumping rope after school today at 3 p.m.—come out and support them.

3. St. Paddy's at Blackstone Steakhouse: Stop by Blackstone Steakhouse for lunch or dinner today, as they'll be serving up corned beef and cabbage and sheperd's pie from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by a traditional Irish dinner and dancing from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

4. Napper Tandy's: For a real St. Paddy's celebration, head to in Smithtown, where the Guiness will flow, the corned beef will be hot, and bag pipers and Irish step dancers will have everyone feeling Irish by the end of the night.
