March 7: Hit the Road with Defensive Driving and the Cheapest Gas Prices

Here's what's going on today around town.

Happy Monday, folks. Hope you enjoyed the weekend, as soggy as it was. Let's dive right in and kickstart the week with a bunch of events happening around town.

1. : All PTA's in the district are converging at the HUBBS Administration Center at 8 p.m. If you're not a member, don't worry—the meeting is open to all.

2. Hit The Road: The is holding a 6-hour driver safety classroom course taught by a certified instructor. Participants are entitled to three years of insurance premium savings and four points reduced from their driving record. The class begins at 8 p.m.

3. : will host their weekly shape-up class for those looking for a low-intensity cardio workout with stretching and toning exercises mixed in. Classes run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m..

4. : When the bell rings at Commack Middle School, the fun begins. Each Monday and Friday, REACH CYA sets up a game room where students can let loose and play with friends. Games last from 2:45 to 3 p.m., and a late bus is available at 3:30.
