May 4: New Bloggers and Board of Ed Candidates

You may notice a few new things on Patch today—take a look around the site and explore our new blogging feature.

1. : We're still looking for bloggers. Check out the Local Voices section on our homepage to get an idea of what blogging on Patch entails, and email Kaitlyn.Piccoli@patch.com if you're interested.

2. : Skip the typical happy hour this evening and opt for a wine pairing with dinner at Ciao Baby. Each Wednesday, this local Italian eatery, famous for its huge portions, offers unlimited wine tastings for just $10 with the purchase of a meal.

3. : Try a zumba class at the newly renovated . Folks 16 and older are invited to workout from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

4. : Eagle Scout Kevin Chaves is on a mission to rasie 500 lbs. of food to donate to a local food pantry to recently burned down. Help Kevin reach his goal by dropping off non-perishable food items at King Kullen through May 31.
