Parade on Jericho Turnpike A Success, Despite Weather

Despite the rainy conditions, the parade and festivities continued at Chabad of Mid-Suffolk to mark the first night of Hanukkah.

Despite the rainy weather, approximately 100 people of all ages gathered at the to celebrate the Menorah-lighting on Wednesday night.  The celebration was hosted by Rabbi Mendel and entertainment was provided by Keith Leaf, with a fire and juggling show.  

The parade started at 4:15 at North Gate Shopping center.  A fire truck provided by the Commack Fire Department lead the parade to the Chabad Center.
