Photos: Residents March in Memorial Day Parade

Commack honored veterans on Monday despite some early morning rain.

Despite a little rain in the morning, hundreds of Commack residents lined Jericho Turnpike Monday morning to support veterans in the annual Memorial Day Parade.

Troop 322 of Commack took part in the parade, along with local firefighters, members of the Commack Community Association and several other groups.

The parade began at 10 a.m. and took off on the east end of the Jericho Turnpike and continued towards Veterans Memorial Highway as hundreds of spectators lined the roads to observe.
