Shelter Animal of the Week

This week's shelter animal is Bean, a Rottweiler mix at Little Shelter.

Bean was rescued from a town shelter and has been at Little Shelter waiting for her forever home for the past few years.  Each time that she has been nearly permanently placed with a family, it unfortunately did not work out "through no fault of Bean's," shelter staff said.

Bean is a Rottweiler mix in her senior years, who prefers the calm and quiet of a home without other dogs, cats, or children.  Shelter staff members said that she thinks of herself as being human, and she enjoys dining off human treats, such as chicken, turkey, and her favorite: roast beef.  She loves car rides, going on slow walks, and lazing about the house.

This lovely older dog is spayed, and up-to-date on her routine shots.
