Shelter Animal of the Week: A Little Prince

Prince is a 3-year-old lab mix with the League for Animal Protection who was brought to the shelter with his sister, and is now on his own waiting to be adopted.

Prince is a young lab mix with the who was brought to the shelter with his sister, who was more fortunate and has been adopted into a forever home.

Prince is about 3 years old, and weighs between 45 and 55 pounds.  He knows his basic commands and walks nicely on a lead, but needs to be reminded of the rules, and that even if he is the prince, his owners are the king and queen. With consistent rules and a little bit of training, this playful and affectionate young boy will integrate well into your family.

Prince gets along with other dogs, but would prefer a home without cats. Because of his large size and playful attitude, he would do best in a home with teenagers or adults.
