Shelter Animal of the Week: Clark the Bunny

Clark is a Himalayan rabbit with the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group who is looking for an owner to give him a safe and happy home.

At Patch, we support all kinds of furry friends in need. This week, we bring you a rabbit up for adoption by the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group named Clark.

Clark is a Himalayan rabbit who was raised in a small outdoor hutch with five other rabbits – four of which were his babies. They lived in deplorable conditions. At the time, all of the rabbits were filthy and their hocks were sore and bloodied due to living in a wire-bottom hutch. These bunnies were never allowed out of their hutch and never had human contact.

LIRRG rescued them last winter and has since provided them with cozy homes and lots of attention from volunteers. Clark is now a happy, bouncy bunny who is waiting for an owner to give him the love and comfort that he deserves.
