Shelter Animal of the Week: Meet Chadwick
Though Chadwick led a tough life before coming to the shelter, he knows the place he belongs is living with a loving family in a warm home.
Before Chadwick came to , he was the victim of terrible abuse. He had been living on the street, and was brought to the shelter with his sister Sage. Chad was missing hair in clumps from his coat, and he had sores all over his body. Staff at the shelter saw past Chad’s rough exterior and have since nursed him back to health.
Chad is an adult pit bull mix who has a happy disposition and loves to go for walks. He gets along with female dogs, but he dislikes cats. He is still going through obedience training, so it would be helpful if his future owner continued teaching him manners. Because he is not completely trained, he would do best in a home with older children who would be more patient with him than younger kids.
He is neutered, housetrained, and up-to-date with his routine shots.
