Shelter Animal of the Week: Meet Isabella

According to studies, having a pet has a myriad of health benefits, including reduced blood pressure and improved immune function. If you don’t have a pet, but would like to bring one home for these and many more benefits, maybe start small with a cat such as Isabella from .

Isabella is a 5-year old domestic short hair who came to the shelter after her owner passed away. Her front paws are declawed, so her future owner would not have to worry about their furniture. Shelter staff say that she is very sweet, and that she loves sitting in people’s laps and being pet. She gets along well with other cats, so she would make a good addition to any cat family.

Isabella is spayed and housetrained.
