Shelter Animal of the Week: Meet Midnight

Though Midnight was not a good fit with his previous owner's family, this beautiful Saluki may be the right match for you.

Midnight is an adult male Saluki mix who was given up by his previous owners when their two-year old began poking and squeezing him.  This was something he did not appreciate, and so he is currently waiting at , hoping to be adopted into a home without young children.

Midnight is friendly, and volunteers describe him as “a mush.”  He likes warm water baths, ice cubes in his water bowl, greenies, and small Milk-Bones. This young boy has a luxurious coat, and does not care for getting it wet by going out in the rain.  Midnight knows many commands, and even knows some hand commands.

He gets along well with nice dogs, but does not care for cats.
