Shelter Animal of the Week: Meet Peanut

Among the pets that often make up shelters are senior dogs who are more difficult to adopt out than their high-energy puppy counterparts.  

Peanut is one such senior at who is looking for a comfortable home in which to live out his golden years.

Peanut is a golden retriever/labrador retriever mix, and is large in size with a medium-length coat. Peanut is calm in his older age, and does not even mind being dressed up, as shown in his pictures. He is ready to bring home to most households, and is already housetrained.

Peanut is also neutered and up-to-date with his routine shots.
