Sweet Pea is a petite pit bull mix with the who has been in the shelter for a long time.
This 4-year-old is incredibly affectionate and has a weakness for belly rubs, as she will roll over at any opportunity. She has also garnered the nickname “Miss Piggy,” as she gets so excited when she sees people that she starts snorting. Sweet Pea also loves to play ball, and loves her blanket.
Adopting an older dog like Sweet Pea has its advantages, as volunteers say Sweet Pea has a medium-to low-energy level. he also already knows her basic obedience cues, and walks wonderfully on a lead. If you would like a dog that you could take for walks and meet new people with along the way, Sweet Pea is your girl.
She gets along well with other dogs, but would do best in a home with children over the age of eight.
Sweet Pea is housetrained and spayed.
