Commack Native Shares Her Journey to Healthy Living

Resident and licensed personal trainer, Joanne Yesner, shares her tips and tricks for getting healthy in this new Commack column.

A licensed personal trainer, Joanne Yesner became interested in fitness and healthy living through her own battle with weight loss. Having weighed over 220 pounds and having experienced life in every size from 24 to 0, Yesner's life experiences help her train clients and help them realize their dreams of a healthy lifestyle. 

Yesner is a licensed American and International Fitness Association personal fitness trainer, aerobic instructor and sports nutrition. She is also a second-degree black belt in Shotokan karate and is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR and defibrillation.

A Commack mom, Yesner's experiences and advice will include tips on how to stay healthy during the busy school season and how to make time for your workouts.
